Tasting Room Associates

Lake Breeze Vineyards seeks energetic and enthusiastic candidates for full-time and part-time seasonal employment in our courtyard tasting area and wine shop. The primary functions of these positions are to promote the sale of wine and to provide exceptional customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

-create a memorable experience and long lasting first impression for all guests

-provide an engaging experience that creates brand loyalty and wine sales

-manage high volume wine and merchandise transactions

-build relationships and provide a high standard of customer service

-present the wine club benefits, contributing to its growth and obtaining goals

-work as a team with other associates to reach daily goals and monthly sales targets

-use effective and appropriate communication

-actively listen and identify opportunities to sell wine and connect with guests

-successfully manage traffic flow efficiently during high volume periods of time

-process POS transactions, stock wine, clean and maintain tidiness standards, perform opening and closing duties, and assist guests with purchases

Job Requirements

-tasting room experience and WEST are assets

-valid Serving it Right Certificate, valid drivers license, 19+ years

-wine knowledge and/or proven wine sales experience

-1 - 2 years of hospitality, customer service, or retail training and/or experience

-flexible schedule, available weekends and holidays throughout May – October, hours will vary and fluctuate due to business volume

-work on and off-site events as needed

-able to lift and carry 40lbs, able to work on your feet for long hours

-Warm, sincere, friendly, and personable demeanor

-self motivated, professional, with excellent communication skills

-effectively speak before groups or individuals to convey wine knowledge

-maintain a positive work atmosphere using clear and effective communication with guests, associates, and management

-solve practical problems and approach stressful situations positively and efficiently
