Wine Consultant – Full or Part Time
Two Sisters Vineyards is a premium, family owned and operated winery in Niagara River Subappellation of Niagara on the Lake. We are looking for highly motivated, passionate, and enthusiastic Wine Consultants to join our dynamic and diverse retail team.
In this role you will be the first point of contact for our guests. You will be responsible for providing world class hospitality and customer service and to communicate to every guest what makes the wine and property at Two Sisters unique. This will primarily involve work in our retail shop, behind the tasting bar, on tours and at events, with other duties and responsibilities as required.
We offer a competitive hourly wage plus generous commission on all sales, and the opportunity to work with a portfolio of premium VQA wines in a state of the art winery and hospitality centre.
This position entails weekday, weekend, evening, and holiday work.
Reporting directly to the Retail Manager, the idea candidate will possess the following attributes:
-An energetic, positive personality
-A strong work ethic and can-do attitude
-Interest in the wine industry
-Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask
-Confident and comfortable speaking to groups of 2 to 20.
-Smart Serve Certification
-Able to Lift 40lbs
-Formal wine training (CMS, WSET, ISG, CAPS, etc) an advantage
-French or second language an asset
