LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

PART-TIME – Home office based

Univins and Spirits is looking to add a new member to its team in Western Canada.  

Univins & Spirits is a Canada-wide wine and spirits agency firmly established all across the country. The agency leverages its 25 years of know-how and its extensive national and international network to deploy the brands it represents with great success. The company is based in Montreal and has representatives and regional offices in many provinces. It generates annual retail sales of $170 million. www.univins.ca

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The main role of the Logistics Coordinator is to support the Regional Manager and the sales team.  Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:

  •  All PO management for suppliers in BC, AB, SK and MB and subsequent paperwork
  • All Interprovincial transfers and subsequent paperwork

  • New supplier registration/paperwork

  • New product registration/paperwork

  • Management of BC producers orders/deliveries

  • Update content information on products (website)

  • Production of communication tools (sell sheets, tent cards, etc) (coordination, not creation)

  • LTO or other promotional registrations for all provinces

  • Event registration

  • Other tasks to support Regional Manager and Sales team 

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Highly organized and able to work under time restraints with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Self-motivated with determination to succeed in a highly competitive market.

  • Dedicated to create and maintain strong customer relationships.

  • Strong team player skills and the ability to work harmoniously with a diverse workforce.

  • Strong work ethic with ability to work some evenings and weekends (wine festivals, winemaker dinners).

  • Computer skills - knowledgeable of Microsoft Office programs.

     

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of two Years of related experience in a similar role

  • Post - Secondary Education in Business Administration, Marketing or Related Field

 

 REMUNERATION PACKAGE

Base salary commensurate according to experience.  Annual wine allowance of portfolio product.
