Assistant and General Managers 

Alice Fazooli's Italian Grill is rapidly growing and we are looking for enthusiastic people to join our dynamic team! Alice Fazooli's, which opened its first location in 1991, delivers a dynamic guest experience with innovative inspired Italian cuisine at affordable prices in a relaxed, yet polished setting. Experience inspiring new dishes, with distinctive and tempting tastes that are a whole new take on your everyday Italian Our food is fresh, innovative, and enticing. Alice Fazooli's is currently looking for Assistant and General Managers for our Toronto, Mississauga, Richmond Hill, Vaughn and Oakville locations. As Assistant Manager or General Manager, you consistently provide our guests with an outstanding dining experience, which is achieved by adhering to our standards of quality and service.

As Assistant Manager you will be responsible for, but not limited to: 

* Providing optimum guest satisfaction and service 
* Manage daily production goals and staffing needs 
* Assist in achieving and/or exceeding daily sales projections 
* Labour and food cost controls 
* Providing leadership, problem solving and decision making in all areas 
* Assist in the hiring and selection procedures, coaching and developing the team, performance evaluations, discipline and terminations 
* Ensure proper safety and sanitation procedures are upheld by all 
* Understand and interpret P&L's and other financial statements 
* Foster long-term guest relationships 
* Position Alice's favourably in the community by being part of recognized local events and activities 
* Provide ongoing training, motivating and development of your staff 
* Demonstrate excellent use of your time and attention to detail 
* Ensure you always have the enthusiasm and infectious energy to inspire your staff and provide a positive guest experience 
* Live and teach our Values and Promises and consistently keep all promises to Stakeholders 

As General Manager you will be responsible for, but not limited to: 

* Uphold the highest quality standards for food, service and financial management. 
* Ensure training and proper supervision of Team Members and Managers on all restaurant procedures. 
* Build and maintain a productive partnership with the Kitchen Manager. 
* Achieve and/or exceed daily sales projections. 
* Manage daily production goals and staffing needs. 
* Understand and interpret P&L's and other financial statements. 
* Accountable for all Human Resource functions (i.e. recruitment, coach & develop team, performance evaluations, discipline and terminations). 
* Live and teach our Values and Promises and consistently keep all promises to Stakeholders. 
* Position Alice's favourably in the community by being part of recognized local events and activities 
* Provide ongoing training, motivating and development of your staff 
* Demonstrate excellent use of your time and attention to detail

Assistant Managers 

Minimum Requirements: 
* 3-7 years of previous restaurant management experience in a comparable restaurant environment 
* High school diploma or equivalent; University degree or University course work preferred 
* Knowledge of provincial employment legislation 
* Smart Serve Certification 
* Proficient in English verbal and written communication, strong problem solving and analytical skills 
* Knowledge of restaurant computer software or the ability to easily acquire this skill 
* A winning mindset and enthusiastic personality

General Managers 

Minimum Requirements: 
* 5-7 years of previous restaurant management experience in a comparable high volume restaurant 
* Have ability to manage our restaurants with a high level of attention to detail, hospitality and fun 
* Minimum High school diploma or equivalent; University degree and or MBA preferred
* Smart Serve Certification preferred 
* Proficient in English verbal and written communication 
* Knowledge of personal computer or ability to acquire appropriate-level skill at computer use and restaurant software
