Looking to join a dynamic team at an exciting winery in Nova Scotia?

Blomidon Estate Winery is looking for a Cellarhand/Vineyard Technician to join our team for 2013.

We're looking for a hard-working, versatile employee who isn't afraid to pitch in when and wherever necessary.  

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

 Vineyard Work:

 - Performing all manner of vineyard tasks such as planting, weeding, canopy management, trellis repair, netting, picking etc. Tractor experience also a plus. Reporting to the Vineyard Manager.

Cellar Work:

- Assisting the winemaker with racking, filtration, bottling, lab work, and cleaning. During harvest, most of your time will be spent in the cellar/lab.  

The ideal candidate wil:

- Have a winemaking/viticulture qualification and ideally some vineyard/cellar experience.

- Have a great work ethic and a passion for great wine.

- A good attention to detail and the ability to work equally well whether unsupervised or in a team environment. 

- Be able to meet the physical demands of the job.

- Be able to work flexible hours. 

This is currently a term employment until the end of harvest, but could certainly lead to a full-time position for the right candidate.
