We are seeking applicants for 2 available positions in the role of harvest intern for the 2024 vintage. The position will start in late August/early September 2024 running until November 1, 2024.

Position requirements:

  • Experience in wine production or manufacturing environment considered an asset
  • Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail required
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload daily
  • Communicate effectively and work safely with co-workers
  • Ability to lift more than 22 kg (48 pounds) on a regular basis; standing, climbing, bending and walking
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada for this contract beginning in August

Responsibilities

  • Operating equipment to crush, ferment, and clarify grapes, juice and wine under the guidance of the winemakers while adhering to all Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Daily set-up and cleaning of processing equipment, tanks and winery.
  • Fermentation monitoring and collection of samples for lab analysis.
  • Promoting a culture of Health & Safety by learning & following safe work procedures
  • Consistently following standard operating procedures to ensure wine quality
