Merchandiser - Calgary (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

Philippe Dandurand Wines is seeking a full-time Retail Merchandiser for the territory of Southern Alberta.  Reporting to the Field Sales Manager, the Retail Merchandiser is responsible for executing merchandising activities and promotions at retail stores in support of 3 Territory Managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Shelving: stock shelves, maintain/improve shelf presence

• Displays: build, merchandise and maintain brand displays

• Cold box: stock shelves, maintain/improve cold box presence

• Point of Sale material: ensure all PDW brands are properly merchandised with available POS materials: backer cards, neck tags, shelf talkers, price tags

• Sales support: providing customer accounts with updated Price Lists, upcoming LTO’s, upselling on case buys

• Submitting daily, weekly and monthly customer call logs

 

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous Customer Service Experience

• Time management and organization skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Self-motivated and self-directed

• Team Player

• Excellent personal presentation

• Industry experience is an asset

 

Additional Requirements

• Flexibility to work varied hours including evenings and weekends (as required)

• Valid Driver’s license in good standing, and access to an appropriate sized vehicle

• Ability to perform physical work such as lifting and moving cases of wine with ease

• Able to lift, up to 30 lbs repeatedly throughout the day
