As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations and sales activities in this new store. You will be in charge of providing excellent customer service, training staff, and ensuring that operational standards are met. You should also be able to identify areas of improvement and suggest changes to increase customer satisfaction, maximize profits, and reduce costs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store
- Manage staff performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed
- Develop strategies to increase customer satisfaction and sales revenues
- Monitor inventory levels and order new stock as needed
- Ensure all operational standards are met (e.g. cleanliness, security
- Proficient in tracking KPIs such as sales trends, store traffic, etc.
EXPERIENCE:
- Keep up with industry trends and best practices
- Minimum of 3 years of liquor sales experience in a managerial role
Weekend & evening availability
- Able to provide a copy of a PROSERVE certification
WSET or other formal wine & spirit education certification would be a big asset
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team of employees
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with customers and staff
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions
