Position: Private Client Manager - Sales
Location: Anywhere in Canada
Private Client Manager - This role can be located anywhere in Canada with preference for British Columbia or Alberta.
As a Private Client Manager, you will personify this luxury brand, passionately presenting our clients remarkable whiskies to collectors and enthusiasts to the Canadian market. Your primary challenge will be to access and engage individuals who have the financial means and appreciation for this unique offering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Present their whiskies to individual collectors with advanced category knowledge and confidence
- Uncover opportunities to sell through credible business partnerships and retail collaborations
- Work with distribution partners and key retailers to plan and execute events that maximize sales potential
- Evaluate and share learnings to continually improve their sales strategies
Key Deliverables:
- Achieve sales targets through events, tastings, and partnerships.
- Establish non-conflicting brand partnerships to drive sales.
- Secure retail sales through collaborations with retail partners.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience and genuine interest in presenting and discussing Scotch whisky
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and socialize with senior business leaders
- Commercial acumen with a focus on improving profitability
- Ability to identify and convert opportunities with complementary luxury brands
- Understanding of premium spirits and luxury markets is desirable
- Experience in a DTC environment is a plus
- Self-starter with the tenacity to navigate ambiguity and find solutions creatively
