Full-Time Multitasking Winery Assistant (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

Artisan SakeMaker, Canada’s first sake winery established in 2006 with purpose of producing small batch, fresh and naturally processed craft sake, on Granville Island is looking for a multitalented person to join our team.  

The task will include all aspects of sake making and rice cultivation as well as the overall operation of the retail store such as sales and administration. Will be working under the direct supervision of the sakemaker and the store manager.

The successful candidate will be engaged in the following tasks:

1.     agricultural  - learn how to grow rice 

2.     production -learn how to make Artisan sake (rice wine)

3.     store operation - learn how to manage retail operation

4.     sales and marketing - learn how to promote and sell

5.     administration - learn how to become a manager

"Serving it Right", "Food Safe" certificates as well as previous wine experience or education is an asset but not necessary. Willingness to learn is more important.
