We are seeking a passionate and driven sales professional to represent and develop our portfolio and business interests in chain retail and on-premise chain accounts. This territory includes some of the leading retailers in BC including Everything Wine, Cascadia Group, Liquor Plus, Angry Otter, Cactus Club and many others. This is a retail, grocery and on-premise focused sales position servicing major chain accounts in all channels. This role is a blend of office and fieldwork that will vary throughout the year.
Ideally, interested applicants will be based within the Greater Vancouver Regional District (GVRD) or Greater Victoria area. This role involves driving on a regular basis. Some evening and weekend work is required from time to time. All applicants must possess a valid BC driver's license and passport. The ability and willingness to carry 40lbs (a typical case of wine or spirits) is required to hold this position.

Your Responsibilities:

Consistently meet and exceed sales and distribution targets

Analyze chain & store level opportunities by location to maximize sales strategy

Provide timely and professional service to both retail and on-premise chain accounts

Secure listings, display space and fridge placements in retail chains

Manage programing in chain retail
-
Secure by-the-glass and by-the-bottle placements in chain on-premise

Provide our customers with effective post placement sales support through product activation, education and other activities as needed

Plan and prepare each week to avoid wasted time and reduce inefficient travel

Accurately record and track all sales activities in our CRM platform
-
Host and entertain our winery partners and suppliers with the utmost enthusiasm and professionalism

Actively participate in sales meetings, company gatherings, tastings and events
-
Work collaboratively with our marketing, accounting and logistics teams
-
Communicate quickly and effectively with internal teams and with our customers
