Calamus Estate Winery based in Jordan Ontario in the heart of Niagara’s wine country is looking for an experienced individual for the 2016 harvest season. Duties are listed but not limited to:

Handling harvested grapes, for the purpose of crushing, destemming and pressing. Taking grape and juice samples for VQA and GGO reporting. Cleaning and sanitizing tanks and hoses. Red wine pump overs. Monitoring temperature and densities of fermenting wines. Barrel emptying, cleaning and filling.  Must be familiar with winery operations and can work with standard winery equipment. Will be working under the direct supervision of head winemaker and winery owner. Compensation based on experience.
