My Cellar Wines is an import agency based in Alberta which is expanding to the rest of Western Canada. Our focus is fine wines, and our customers are boutique wine stores, hotels, private clubs, and fine restaurants. We carry many award winning and special estate wines from Italy, California, Oregon and Washington. More regions are being added imminently.
To support sales growth and properly manage our valued customers we are seeking Sales and Account Managers in any one of Edmonton, Calgary, or the Lower Mainland of British Columbia. The incumbent(s) will be part of a growing team representing excellent wines and enjoying all the benefits associated with working in the wine industry.
As a relatively new business we are flexible on the time commitment and work hours. Part-time or Full-time is possible. This is by no means a 9-5 desk job. The focus is meeting and supporting our customers and prospective customers to develop recognition for our quality brands. This will involve travel in your appointed region to stores, hotels, restaurants, and tasting events. A customer base and prospective customer database is well established in Alberta while in the Lower Mainland it is being built out and the incumbent will have ongoing support for their marketing plans, as needed.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for wine and the hospitality trade and be a sales and marketing professional. We will ensure candidates are well versed with our existing portfolio however advanced wine knowledge and an understanding of grape growing, the winemaking processes, and wine regions will be a clear asset.

Priority will be given to those with WSET 2+ education. “Pro Serve” Certification is required. The ability to work with Microsoft Office to keep the sales database current, track wine samples and other expenses will be required. From time to time the role will involve the physical demands of standing for a few hours at wine shows and other promotional events along with managing cases of wine at events or customer tastings.
Compensation will be a mix of base salary and performance incentives/commission dependent on experience. The incumbent will need their own transportation, a valid driver’s licence and clean driving record and be paid the maximum allowable mileage per CRA guidelines. All relevant business expense will be reimbursed.
