Authentic is a national wine & spirits agency that represents some of the most iconic brands in the world including Champagne Louis Roederer, Cristal, Masi, Castello Banfi, Vina Cono Sur, K Vintners, Michter’s American Whiskey as well as many other world-renowned brands. Our team is expanding, and we are looking for driven team players.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, Core Brands, this position’s mandate is to offer brand management support to the marketing team, reinforcing the Ontario portfolio development.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
1. Support Marketing Managers in building annual plans through the analysis of market dynamics
2. Work collaboratively with marketing, cross-functional teams and key stakeholders
3. Monitor channel performance and opportunity aiding in the identification of product assortments
4. Trade marketing support in new listing tender process
5. Aid in the execution of events and marketing programs ensuring deliverables and timelines are met
6. Review of all programs identifying ROI, learnings and best practices
7. Support in the tracking of brand health through regular reporting both internally and to key stakeholders. Analyze brand and category trends, market developments and create strategic plans to drive success
8. Aid in budget management on CHG proprietary platforms
9. Support in the development of digital and channel plans for the agency
Job Qualifications:
· Experience: University degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or equivalent discipline and/or minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales or management of a large wine & spirits portfolio. Consumer and trade marketing experience in an outside industry is also an asset. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of the LCBO and existing relationships at board level.
· Skills: Driven team player with strong interpersonal skills. Strength in strategic planning, sales and excellent written and verbal communication. Must be highly organized and have experience with project management. Strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint and ability to learn and adopt new programs.
· Knowledge: Expert knowledge of the liquor industry (wine and spirits products as well as governmental policy and regulations is preferred). Successful completion of wine and spirit courses is desirable (e.g.: WSET) and will be required if hired.
