Reporting to the VPGM, the successful candidate must have an excellent track record as a wine club leader in other organizations or have the necessary skills to internally succeed with growing the WC group. Product knowledge/enthusiasm for high-ticket wines is also required and previous selling experience is a plus. Restaurant/wine/food/tour and group management experience and special event planning experience also a plus. This position also requires behind-the-scenes industry knowledge of wine club activities in a rapidly expanding market. Responsibilities include creating, initiating effective collaborations, and organizing evening and weekend wine events with members and in design of generating membership; as well as attendance at trade events that also involve evenings and weekends.

The Wine Club Manager will manage and grow the TSV wine club program, working closely with wine club, tasting room and marketing. This dynamic position will play an instrumental role in achieving targeted sales and membership growth for existing and future wine club program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Daily calls, voicemails, and emails in support of the maintenance and growth of the membership
· Manager order returns and work with Shipping & Inventory Manager to resolve address updates, reroutes, call tags, etc.
· Proactively “upsell” wine club members, taking every opportunity to add to existing allocations
· Greet existing club members upon visit, in addition to spending time interacting on site with new and existing members
· Ensure orders are processed accurately, and timely
· Pull shipment send lists and weekly reports
· Create content for club communication and events
· Review various inventory locations to ensure orders are not creating outages
· Proactively review monthly goals on Weekly Summary
· Contact club members with missed delivery attempts to reduce return rate
· Contact returns, recover shipping costs and attempt to upsell
· Contact club members with declined credit cards ASAP post batch processing
· Actively ship out will call orders after pickup deadline
· Drive upsell revenue and work with brand management to deplete end-of-lot and library wines and contact prior purchasers of new releases
· Use contact codes to maintain buyer’s preferences and suggest recommended products
· Contact non-openers from promotional emails
· Work with brand management to plan club shipment selections and ensure master list is up to date as products are changed/updated
· Assist with the modification, design of club packaging, collateral materials and sourcing of tools for enhanced service
· Communicate current and upcoming club products to sales team(s)
· Work with tasting room management to educate staff on selections, hosting tastings of new releases
· Communicate wine club promotions to sales team(s) and work with management to ensure all promotions are notated on the master calendar
· Create email and newsletter content and work with brand manager & winemaking team
· Support tasting room team with onboarding and training and train all new hires on wine club sales tips, procedures and SOP’s
· Work with management to revise/update training how-to’s

REQUIRED SKILLS:
· Exceptional skills in customer service with a professional demeanor
· Experience in data management (large database or CRM capabilities)
· Excellent written communication skills, attention to grammar and email etiquette
· Works well in a team environment
· Pays close attention to detail and takes initiative
· Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
· Previous tasting room experience or in person customer service a plus
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree and/or 3+ years of wine club experience or equivalent
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
· CRM management seen as an asset to manage large volume
