Two Sisters Vineyards is an ultra premium winery in the heart of beautiful Niagara on the Lake. We offer a positive, friendly work environment and a competitive staff incentive plan. We are currently seeking Wine Consultants for our Retail Wine Boutique and Tasting Room.

Wine Consultants, Seasonal Contract May 2020 – November 2020 (Possible opportunity for full-time position)

This is a wonderful opportunity for enthusiasts & eager individuals to help spread the word about the great wines of Two Sisters Vineyards. If you have a passion for wine and love interacting with people & have a passion to influence others with your enthusiasm and knowledge, this may be the right position for you.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:

 -         Selling our award-winning portfolio of award-winning wines through product presentation, wine knowledge and closing skills

-         Demonstrating a genuine passion for wine and wine country

-         Promoting and selling our VIP and Vintage wine club memberships

-         Promoting ticket sales and assisting at special events

-         Handling transactions as set by procedure

-         Occasionally representing the winery at off site events/tastings

-         Assisting with the prep and shipment of our wine club memberships

-         Stocking shelves and maintaining the cleanliness of the Tasting Room and all public areas

WE WILL INTERVIEW:

·         Someone who has a passion for wine and wants to share that passion with every guest that comes into the winery

·         Someone with a wine background, whether it is WSET training, or another renowned wine certification

·         Someone who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get things done (from assisting in keeping public areas clean and organized to talking to the winemaker about what our customers love in their Cabernet Franc)

·         Someone who loves interacting with customers and satisfying their wine needs

·         Someone who takes direction and constructive feedback with the aim to improve

·         Someone with prior experiences in hospitality and/or sales

·         Someone who takes pride in their work, the environment and seeing everyone around them succeed

·         Has excellent verbal communications skills, and can use those skills to think on their feet

·         Someone who is comfortable with a POS system, able to work weekends, stand for long hours, have reliable transportation to and from work, is 19 years of age or over and has or will get their Smart Serve Certification

·         Someone who can pack, lift and securely place a case of wine (40 lbs) into someone’s vehicle
