We’re a small, family-run u-brew business in North Vancouver, and we’re on the hunt for a Saturday superstar to join our fun, young, and energetic crew.
Who You Are:
- Wine Lover Extraordinaire: You’ve got at least a WSET Level 2 diploma and 2 years of experience in the wine and spirits industry. You know your Malbec from your Merlot and can chat about tannins without a doubt.
- Customer Service Champ: You’re the type of person who goes above and beyond to make someone’s day. You will love our customers as much as we do and know how to keep them coming back. Service with a smile is what you are all about! No Debbie downers allowed!
- Multi-Tasking Master: Pouring wine, chatting with customers, answering phones– all in a day’s work for you. You can juggle it all without missing a beat.

Wine and Cider Guide: You’ll assist customers in starting their wine and cider batches, guiding them through the process with expert knowledge and enthusiasm. Educating customers is one of your favorite parts of the job.

Tidiness Aficionado: You keep the shop looking sharp. From tidying up to helping customers bottle their creations, you ensure everything runs smoothly and looks great.

Sales Enthusiast: You know how to engage customers and sell them the perfect wine-making experience. Plus, you’re comfortable dealing with customer accounts and making sure everything adds up.
- Quick Thinker: Problems? You solve them faster than you can say “Chardonnay.” You’re cool under pressure and always find a way to make things work.
- Communicator Extraordinaire: You’ve got great communication and typing skills, and your email game is strong. Plus, you know how to talk without being glued to your phone (we love a good chat IRL).
- Physically Fit: You’re in good shape and can handle the physical demands of the job, whether it’s lifting, moving, or just being on your feet all day.
- No Couch Potatoes: If your idea of exercise is scrolling through TikTok, this isn’t the job for you. But if you like being on the move and staying active, we’re your people!
The Deets:
- Hours: Saturdays from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM (perfect for the early risers who don’t mind a little wine action on the weekends).
- Pay: $22/hour, plus wine incentives and bonuses based on sales performance. Yes, you heard that right – wine incentives!
- Perks: A fun and vibrant work environment where no two days are the same. You’ll be part of a small, tight-knit team that treats our clients like family.
Must-Haves:
- Must be 19+ (we don’t want to get in trouble with the wine police).
- Ability to lift 50lbs and stay active throughout the day.
- A genuine love for wine and customer service.
- WSET level 2 and at least 2 years in the wine industry
