As the Manager, you will oversee and manage the bottling line and related activities, ensuring efficient operations and quality standards are met. Your primary responsibilities include:
• Overseeing the bottling line's operation, maintenance, and efficiency, ensuring that the bottling process meets production schedules and quality standards.
• Supervising bottling staff and ensuring they are trained on proper operating procedures and safety protocols.
• Coordinating with the production team to schedule bottling runs, ensuring a seamless transition from production to packaging.
• Ensuring bottling equipment is regularly serviced, maintained, and calibrated to prevent downtime and ensure accurate filling, labelling, and packaging.
• Managing inventory of bottles, corks, labels, and other packaging materials to ensure uninterrupted bottling operations.
• Monitoring quality control during the bottling process to ensure that every bottle meets the winery’s cleanliness, labelling, and packaging standards.
• Collaborating with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure proper storage and distribution of bottled wine.
Your work on the bottling line will be based on bookings. You will have the flexibility to manage your schedule and workload to maintain an average of 40 hours per week. You will be expected to help with general winery operations when you aren't scheduled.
This is a salaried position with a range of $65,000 to $75,000 annually. You will also receive 2 weeks of paid vacation each year as well as extended health benefits.
