Osoyoos Larose, leader in Bordeaux Blends in British Columbia's Okanagan Valley since 1998, is looking for an Irrigation Supervisor. The position is permanent full-time beginning April 2020.

Reporting to the Vineyard Manager, as the irrigation supervisor you will oversee the day to day operations of the irrigation system as well as assisting the viticulturist in running the vineyard.

 

 We are looking for:

·         2 to 3 years' experience in vineyard work.

·         Experience of vineyard irrigation

·         Ability to operator equipment, including a tractor.

·         Leadership experience and a commitment to excellence and high standards

 

The irrigation supervisor will:

·         Maintain and troubleshoot the irrigation system

·         Plan and execute the irrigation schedule under the supervision of the vineyard manager

·         Oversee a team of 2 employees

·         Assist the R and D department with experiments

·         Drive a tractor when needed

·         Vineyard infrastructure maintenance – post/trellis/fencing/irrigation when needed

·         Prune during the winter
