Skaha Lookout Vineyard is looking for a part time tractor operator for the coming season. The ideal candidate must be strong and healthy, able to lift 50 pounds, ability to work in team and welling to work long hours outdoor in all seasons and weather conditions. Candidate MUST have tractor driving experience. It is strongly recommended to have prior experience with different type of tractor attachment (sprayer, compost applicator, fertilizer applicator, edger and mower). Pesticide Applicator's License is strongly recommended as well as some mechanical knowledge. Under the supervision of the vineyard Manager, the tractor driver will perform theses tasks - Mixing and application of fertilizer and spray - Harvest crops - Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment - Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, mowing spraying or harvesting - Grass control with spray and/or mechanical attachment - Help with vineyard work if needed during the season
