Wine Shop & Club Manager

Upper Bench Winery & Creamery seeks a dynamic Wine Shop & Club Manager to oversee daily tasting room operations, ensuring an exceptional guest experience and leading a high-performing team.

Sales & Customer Experience

  • Train and lead staff in selling wine, cheese, and club memberships.

  • Maintain a welcoming, knowledgeable, and service-driven tasting room.

  • Promote the Corks & Curds Club and educate guests on our wines and cheeses.

Operations & Staff Management

  • Hire, schedule, and oversee staff performance and training.

  • Maintain training materials, tasting menus, and promotional signage.

  • Ensure seamless opening/closing procedures and adherence to policies.

Inventory & Retail Management

  • Manage wine, cheese, and retail inventory, ensuring accurate sales tracking.

  • Oversee merchandise displays, transactions, and online order fulfillment.

Communication & Coordination

  • Liaise between the tasting room, winery, and creamery teams.

  • Coordinate vineyard/winery tours and collaborate on events and promotions.

  • Ensure cleanliness, compliance, and a top-tier guest experience.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership, organization, and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent customer service, sales, and training abilities.

  • Professional demeanor and discretion in handling sensitive information.

  • Passion for wine, cheese, and hospitality.

This is a full time, year-round position for the right candidate and will include extended health, dental and vision benefits after a probationary period.

$55K-$62K annually based on experience, plus gratuities and sales incentives.
