Located on the picturesque Southern Gulf Islands, Sage Hayward Vineyards along with our on-site Feral Goat Bistro, offers not just a job, but a serene setting paired with the passion for exquisite cuisine that complements our fine wines. We are currently seeking a talented Pizza Chef to join our team for the summer and early fall season. If you have a flair for crafting delicious, high-quality pizzas and a desire to work in a vibrant, team-oriented winery and bistro, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook pizzas using our traditional forno pizza oven.
- Create and innovate recipes that pair well with our array of wines.
- Manage ingredients inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen.
- Collaborate with our culinary team to enhance our menu offerings.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience as a Pizza Chef or similar role.
- Skilled in using a wood-fired pizza oven.
- A passion for food and wine, with a particular focus on pairing.
- Ability to work independently and part of a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
