Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Vineyard Hand to assist in the daily operations of our vineyard. This is a hands-on position that involves working outdoors and being part of a close-knit team. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the health and productivity of our vines and ensuring that the vineyard runs smoothly throughout the growing season, and harvest.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with planting, pruning, and maintaining vines
Perform general vineyard maintenance tasks, such as weeding, plant maintenance, and harvest
Assist with pest and disease management
Harvest grapes during peak season
Support the team in other tasks in the vineyard and winery as required
Qualifications:
Previous experience in vineyard work or farming is a plus but not required
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Good physical fitness and ability to lift and carry heavy objects
Reliable and punctual, with a positive attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and long hours during the harvest season
Knowledge of organic farming practices is a plus
