The Pacifico Selections Brand Director works closely with internal stakeholders to identify key selling opportunities, implement engaging consumer campaigns, and manage resource planning in a dynamic market. This role is crucial to driving Santa Rita Estate’s growth across Canada.
To excel in this role, you must be a results driven, wine-passionate individual with strong organizational, trade marketing, and business analytical skills. Ideal candidates will possess a competitive team spirit, an authentic drive for success, and the ability to collaborate effectively across all departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Direct management of strategy and execution across all ranges under the Vina Carmen and Dona Paula portfolio
· Management of strategy and execution across all brands within their Portfolio of suppliers
· Governance of trade marketing programming, support, and product knowledge
· Forecast reporting with scheduled revisions and quarterly business review presentations
· Budget planning and accountability
· Develop and execute fiscal business plans
· Prepare, present and deliver results through quarterly business reviews
· Analyze current market trends to determine growth opportunities for our brands
· Preparation of tender applications and key customer meetings
· Customer service support to logistics, receivables and other queries that arise
· Weekly sales meetings and monthly forecast reports to winery
· Quarterly virtual winery performance reviews (sales, marketing, winemaking, etc)
· New project presentations to winery committee
· Other responsibilities as assigned
Position Requirements:
· Self starter and highly motivated
· Elevated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel and PowerPoint specifically)
· Ability to analyze and interpret data
· Creative and innovative approach to business
· Knowledge of brand marketing, design programs and an eye for simple design work
· Strong organizational skills
· Ability to meet tight deadlines
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Strong presentation skills
· Beverage industry experience
· Occasional traveling is required
· WSET 2, a drivers license and the ability to speak French and/or Spanish are an asset
Compensation and benefits commensurate with experience. Business related expenses are also covered.
