GTA Wine Sales Position (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

We are looking for enthusiastic, well organized and knowledgeable full-time and part-time Sales Representatives to help grow our product sales in the GTA.  Territories would include Central and Northern Toronto, and would predominantly target licensee clients. We are a privately owned wine and spirits agency in Ontario, representing key wineries from top wine producing countries. We market beverage alcohol products to the provincial Liquor Board as well as licensed on-trade establishments. 

Potential candidates must possess a passion for wine and enjoy working with the restaurant industry. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement / execute a territory sales plan with agreed upon targets and service standards.
  • Secure new business through cold calling and prospect meetings.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Operate territory within approved expense budget.
  • Educate clients and prospects about Artisanal products and services.
  • Attend promotional and sales events as required.
  • Other responsibilities as may be required to grow the Artisanal brand and sales.

The ideal candidate will have the following minimum Qualifications:

  • Basic wine education course along with a minimum of 1 year of wine sales experience to the restaurant trade
  • Fluency in Italian is a requirement
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication (be prepared to provide samples of past communications with clients)
  • Valid Ontario driver’s license, and a dependable vehicle
  • SmartServe Certification
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings and/or weekends.
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, including lifting 40 lbs and ability to stand for extended periods of time.
