We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Private Client Sales Associate to join our team. As a PC Sales Associate, they are the face of Rogers to our Private Clients. They foster, create and maintain important relationships with our Private Clients. They must be able to work collaboratively as part of the office and remote team and learn to use all shared company resources, inclusive of our CRM database and relevant LCBO portals to gather information, work independently and share ideas, thoughtfully.
Private Client Sales Associates are responsible for detailed upkeep of administrative tasks in relation to their clients, creative writing for the Weekly Drop, the creation of other sales materials and will be called upon for their continued ideas on how to better service our clients. PC Sales Associates are also responsible for representing the Company professionally at public events and trade shows.
Description
Sales Responsibilities:
- Selling a wide range of wines from the RogCo Portfolio to all active clients;
- Successfully identify client temperaments and flexibility in understanding wine style;
- Ongoing client relationship building and outreach via phone, email and in-person events: Ie, hosting evening events, pouring at club events, etc.
- Ongoing client outreach at timed intervals as noted in the client file;
- Entering Online Orders, and facilitating accurate, timely delivery
- Produce writing for The Weekly Drop, our weekly Newsletter
- Representing the Company at after-hours social functions, trade events, etc.
Business Development:
- Prepare, organize and execute Sales/Wine dinners
- Perform post-event analysis, inclusive of budget and general comments
- Provide thoughtful ordering direction when prompted
- Participate in in-office wine tastings with winery partners or other management staff when prompted
- Ongoing research into new producers, new wines, and their viability in the Ontario Market
Administrative tasks:
- Learning and adapting to the company CRM operating system is key to this role
- Updating all relevant information into in-house CRM system: Ie, payment information, client information, ordering, backorders, dates, outreach cycles, etc.
- Tracking of courier shipments where relevant
- Upkeep of website content where relevant
- Upkeep of Price List where relevant
Qualifications
· Excellent wine knowledge; WSET Level 3 or Certified Sommelier equivalent
· 2+ years in related role, Fine Wine preferred
· Proven experience in consignment sales, preferably within the beverage-alcohol industry or similar sales experience
· Strong understanding of distribution channels and client networks in the beverage-alcohol sector
· Excellent communication skills, written and verbal in English
· Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Compensation
This is a base salary plus annual bonus position, offering a performance-driven compensation structure. This position requires flexible hours and will sometimes require evenings and weekends with Trade Shows, Supplier Dinners/Events outside of regular workdays. All candidates must be able to work in-office 4 days per week, with one flexible work from home day, per week.

Salary: $60,000+, commensurate with experience
