Job Summary
We are seeking a self-sufficient, goal oriented, well-connected individual who is passionate about wine and enjoys working with people. You will be representing the Boires Canada wine agency and our producers through on-premise sales with licensees and consumers in the GTA.
You will manage your own schedule and most days will be spent on the road with clients and conducting wine tastings.
You will be reporting to the Boires management team and collaborating with fellow sales representatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets.
- Create new accounts and manage existing ones.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and peers.
- Become an expert in the agency’s wine and spirit portfolio.
- Track personal sales figures.
- Promote the agency’s wines through in-person meetings and wine tastings.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Well-connected within the GTA hospitality network.
- Well-organized and able to take initiative. The position requires a lot of autonomous work; therefore the applicant needs to be able to manage their accounts and make certain decisions independently.
- Passionate about wine.
- Available to work flexible hours.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a car.
- Tech savvy with the ability to comprehend and navigate the company’s CRM system.
- Familiar with the LCBO processes and systems.
Experience
- 2 years experience in licensee on-premise sales.
- WSET and/or sommelier certification is an asset.
- Smart Serve Certification
Compensation is a base salary plus commission.
