Operations Manager
Profile Wine Group, one of Canada’s premier wine agencies is currently seeking an Experienced Operations Manager to oversee all daily operations activities and work closely with the Chief Operating Officer and Managing Directors. The role will have full accountability over a nine-member team across the Customer Service/Order Desk and Delivery departments. The ideal candidate will be a strong hands-on leader demonstrating a proven ability to manage and motivate staff, problem solve and implement innovative solutions to improve operational processes.
Specific accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
Customer Service/Order Desk
Manage a team of four staff to ensure customer orders are processed in an accurate and timely manner into the company and LCBO order entry systems
Ensure all sub-processes including reconciliations are completed as required
Monitor operations to identify procedural gaps and implement corrective measures
Ensure complete level of self ability to offer hands-on assistance as required
Collaborate with Inventory Planning Manager to ensure inventory level accuracy across order entry systems and various LCBO generated reporting
Responsible for recruitment, training and ensuring adequate staffing levels at all times
Delivery Operations
Manage a team of five delivery drivers and up to three third party delivery service providers
Ensure delivery drivers adhere to established protocols and processes
Monitor delivery operations to identify procedural gaps and implement corrective measures
Oversee fleet maintenance and service requirements scheduling
Responsible for recruitment, training and ensuring adequate staffing levels at all times
LCBO Collaboration
Develop and maintain a working relationship with LCBO staff supporting Profile’s business
Develop an in depth understanding and proficiency of LCBO inventory and order entry systems
Education & Skills/Competencies
Minimum 5 years operations management or closely related experience
Proven ability to manage and motivate staff
Exceptional problem-solving skills and strong work ethic
Ability to multi task and succeed in a fast paced and demanding work environment
High level of proficiency in MS Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Industry knowledge and an understanding of LCBO systems and policies is an asset
Proficiency in MS office software (Outlook, Word, Excel)
