As a key member of the Canadian Leadership Team, the Regional Director for Ontario will be responsible for creation and execution of the fiscal plan for the Select Wines portfolio. On top of leading a team of experienced Trade Marketers and a Field Sales Manager, the Director will hold close relationships with all key stakeholders at the LCBO.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Develop and execute the fiscal business plan for all Select Wine Brands, in the Ontario market
· Lead the ongoing development and execution of the Business Unit’s portfolio and sales strategy.
· As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, contribute to the strategic evolution of the organization.
· Beat the competition, deliver/exceed the annual plan and be the partner of choice for suppliers and customers.
· Build a Business Unit able to meet current and future industry challenges through organizational development, coaching and capability
· Collaborate and partner with brands & brand management to ensure optimization of portfolio execution and overall performance
· Lead direct reports effectively by clearly communicating responsibilities, expectations and deliverables
· Maintain high levels of employee engagement and a culture that encompasses the Company Values, Mission & Vision
· Manage strategic relationships with key buyers
· Drive engagement and utilization of selling tools and technology to maximize team performance
· Participate as an active member of the Canadian Leadership Team by regularly presenting regional results, pro-actively finding solutions to challenges and supporting other market leads, where needed
· Manage profitability of the Selling Organization in the Ontario Market
· Inspire and coach a team of Trade Marketing Managers to develop and execute impactful, fully-integrated marketing campaigns that deliver measured results
· Inspire and coach a Field Sales Manager to grow a team of enthusiastic Territory Managers with perfect, in-market execution
· Manage and foster mutually-beneficial relationships with all key stakeholders and decision makers at the LCBO
· Liaise with International suppliers to ensure brands are properly positioned and distributed in the market
· Cultivate a culture of growth, accountability and teamwork
· Other responsibilities as assigned
Position Requirements:
· Post-secondary degree in applicable field
· 3-5 years industry experience in a management role
· Proven-ability to inspire growth through a dynamic sales and marketing team
· Strategic thinker with an ability to create an execute a business plan
· Ability to gather, analyze and interpret data
· Highly-motivated, self-starter with a high level of accountability
· Ability to meet tight deadlines
· Elevated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel and PowerPoint specifically)
· Creative and innovative approach to business
· Completion of WSET Level 2
· Valid drivers license with clean driving record
· A dependable and insured vehicle
· Ability to lift/carry 40lbs regularly
· Evening/weekend availability when required
Compensation and benefits commensurate with experience. Business related expenses are also covered.
