We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Retail Sales Manager to join our growing team. In this role your task will be to grow the 30.50 Imports retail portfolio with the LCBO and elevate private client sales. Your entrepreneurial mindset and collaborative approach will be key in helping you build relations and exceed sales objectives. We’re looking for an individual with a proven track record converting leads to closed business.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow existing business with LCBO retail channels including sourcing new suppliers.
Build and maintain relationships with LCBO category managers, buyers, and store staff to increase brand awareness and sales.
Conduct in-store tastings, staff training sessions and promotional events to showcase our wine portfolio.
Identify and pursue opportunities to grow private client sales, focusing on high-value and repeat customers.
Plan and execute B2C sales campaigns from strategy to analysis including budget management. Prospect for leads, execute campaigns and close business.
Provide personalized service to private clients, including wine recommendations and custom curated solutions.
Out-of-office travel required to meet with private clients, LCBO store management and product consultants, LCBO Category teams, etc.
Create product sales/information sheets, perform product training and tastings.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years experience in beverage alcohol in Ontario with specific experience in the wine category.
- Self-driven, organized, entrepreneurial and strong communicator.
- Proven track record executing successful B2C marketing and loyalty programs.
- Proficiency with CRM software and sales tracking tools, NISS and iSupplier.
- In-depth understanding of LCBO channels and operations.
- Certification from WSET or Sommelier program a valuable asset.
- Smart Serve Certified.
