About the Role
Are you passionate about wine, spirits, and the complex world of international logistics? Enoteca Bacco is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations and Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This role offers direct involvement in ensuring the smooth flow of our exclusive product portfolio from our global suppliers to customers across Western Canada. You'll work closely with the Operations & Logistics Manager to coordinate purchase orders, manage shipments, and maintain exceptional communication with our network of suppliers, freight forwarders, and provincial liquor boards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the purchase order pipeline, collaborating with suppliers across Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Oceania.
- Proactively contribute to demand planning and inventory level management throughout Western Canada.
- Troubleshoot and proactively address any shipping delays, product issues, or other logistical challenges.
- Foster strong relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders, and liquor control boards.
- Analyze shipping data to identify trends, optimize routes, and propose cost-saving measures.
- Contribute to the development and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational efficiency.
- Take on additional responsibilities, as needed, demonstrating flexibility and an eagerness to learn.
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Operations and/or Logistics role, demonstrating an understanding of international supply chains.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), with an emphasis on relationship-building.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical and collaborative skills.
- Proven organizational abilities, a detail-oriented mindset, and the aptitude to work independently.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Asana, MS Excel/Google Sheets, and an aptitude for quickly learning new software.
- Must be able to lift a 20kg (45lbs) box (or a case of wine)
- Knowledge of wine and spirits and a genuine interest for the beverage industry.
- Experience working within the liquor industry, familiarity with provincial control boards (BCLDB, AGLC, LCBO etc.) and WSET Certification are a strong asset.

Compensation
This role offers a competitive salary range of $50,000 - $70,000 per year, based on your qualifications and experience.
