The Delf Group is a third generation, family owned and operated liquor agency based in Delta, BC, representing top selling brands throughout Western Canada. We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical and professional Data & Logistics Coordinator to join our team full time.
The Data & Logistics Coordinator will work closely with our team to provide support with inventory management, supply-chain, pricing, and sales data analysis in all western provinces.
The Data & Logistics Coordinator thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized and has a strong analytical aptitude.
Roles & Responsibilities
· Update inventory reports weekly with accurate ETA’s, vintages and allocations where applicable
· Assist with transferring inventory provinces across Western Canada
· Work with suppliers regarding inventory levels provincially and requesting/transferring new shipments across all provinces
· Communicate with freight forwarders and the Liquor Boards in each province
· Address and resolve shipment and inventory issues
· Coordinate with suppliers to complete CETA, CUSMA and other trade agreement forms
· Review and update forecasts for domestic suppliers
· Create and update pricing reports and grids for all provinces
· Submit price changes on a monthly/weekly basis to all provinces
· EZ Focus software management
o Pull monthly sales reports and competitive stats for all provinces
o Create reports to drive business in all markets and trade channels
o Ad-hoc reporting for sales team and Director of sales as needed
· Support the sales team on emails/inquiries regarding product/inventory/vintages/etc.
· Additional duties as required
Attributes
- 1-2 years experience in a similar role
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and Outlook programs
- Experience using EZ Focus Software Management
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Analytical, detail-oriented and strategic
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Works well independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Previous experience in the liquor industry is an asset
Preference will be given to candidates with industry experience and wine education (WSET).
Compensation will be based on experience and skillset.
