Select Wines has a rare opportunity to join their unbeatable BC Sales Team as Territory Manager for the retail-focused Vancouver South region.
Who we are looking for:
A fast paced, results driven Vancouver based individual with passion and knowledge for the beverage industry. This position requires you to be organized, motivated, and focused on the bigger picture for an overall provincial goal. Potential candidates would have competitive team spirit, genuine thirst for winning and a desire to work cross-functionally with all sales and marketing teams. The successful candidate should have level 2 or higher from an accredited wine course, experience in selling wine and the ability to self manage.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
§ Accountable for sales results and targets in designated territory
§ Demonstrate fiscal responsibility while managing business expenses and marketing budgets
§ Adhere to a master route ensuring effective and timely daily account visits
§ Aid in festivals, supplier/account dinners and other trade and consumer events
§ Act as an ambassador for all Select Wine brands
§ Ability to analyze statistics with strong business acumen and utilize findings to maximize sales approach
§ Utilization of CRM systems to service existing accounts effectively and to identify new accounts
Position Requirements:
§ Self starter and highly motivated
§ Serving it Right Certificate
§ Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
§ Ability to analyze and interpret data
§ Strong planning and organizational skills
§ Excellent oral and written skills
§ Valid B.C driver’s license
§ Possess a dependable and insured vehicle
§ Ability to lift/carry 40lbs regularly
§ Evening/weekend availability when required
