Logistics Coordinator (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

Logistics Coordinator

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Logistics Coordinator to represent one of the leading privately owned wine and spirits agencies in Canada. Founded in 1982, Select Wines represents key wineries and category leading products from top wine producing countries and employs over 130 wine passionate and ambitious people from coast to coast.

 

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

·        Manage the process and documentation of Purchasing Inventory

·        Liaises with suppliers and freight forwarders to effectively monitor shipments

·        Collaborate with freight forwarders to optimize the value and capacity of LCL shipments

·        Maintains inventory receiving entries and adjustments.

·        Responsible for activation of new products and weekly price updates in the system

·        Process stock transfers and provincial orders

·        Responsible for inventory reconciliation

·        Exercise due diligence to maintain accuracy of supplier transactions

·        Maintain accurate and current status of supplier and customer inquiry

·        Collaborates with Supervisor to resolve issues with shipments and Inventory

 

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications/skill set:

 

·        Highly Proficiency in MS office applications

·        Minimum 5 years of experience in Computerized purchasing environment covering the full cycle of purchasing.

·        Excellent customer service skills

·        Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

·        Proficient organizational and time management skills

·        Demonstrates problem solving skill with strong attention to detail.

·        Must be able to take initiative and work independently.

·        ERP Experience considered an asset.

In accordance with the Pay Transparency Act, the expected base salary range for this position is $50,000 to $55,000 per year. Compensation, bonus eligibility and benefits commensurate with experience.
