Marketing and Sales Coordinator
Dream Wines is a fast-growing, boutique wine import agency representing some of the most famous and iconic wineries from around the world. The headquarters are currently based in North Vancouver, but we serve all markets in Western Canada.
We are looking for a self-driven and intuitive individual that can brighten the spotlight on the wines in our portfolio. Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing & Sales Coordinator will be responsible for providing timely support to the sales team, overseeing various marketing functions, and ensuring administrative tasks are completed with excellent customer service and attention to detail. Summary of Key Responsibilities
Marketing:

Assist creation and execution of social media content to help increase brand awareness.

Support creating e-mail promotions and keeping client e-mail lists up to date.

Uploading tasting notes and bottle shots to BCLS Website and Connect Logistics.

Taking on special marketing projects as needed.

Creating promotional materials.
-
Coordinating with BC Liquor Stores marketing teams with regards to shelf talkers, points stickers, promotional materials, and events.

Support organization of special events and market visits.
Sales:
-
Supporting sales team with customized promotional materials (individual sales sheets and printing).

Updating Provincial Portfolios.

Maintaining wine profiles up to date in retailer databases.

Assisting Sales Team to fill out Retail Listing Forms.

Managing Domestic winery sales processes.
-
Assisting with dropping off samples and making presentations for buyers.

Placing orders with the BCLDB as necessary.

Updating account sales data.
Administration:
-
Tracking pouring reports.
-
Maintenance of office supplies.
-
Problem solving order issues with BCLDB.

Filling in as needed with supply chain management and regulatory affairs. Cross-training will be provided.

Support other marketing and promotional duties, as required.
Qualifications, Experience, and Requisites

Level 2 or 3 WSET certification would be a significant asset. A genuine interest in wine and willingness to learn is essential.

Proficiency in Mac iWork Suite or MS Office.

Experience with e-marketing, Canva and Squarespace would be an asset.

Experience in an office environment is preferred.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Proactive self-starter who can manage workload independently and prioritize effectively.

Ability to travel locally when required.

Important Details:

Business hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm. Most of the time worked will need to be during business hours, but there is flexibility so long as deadlines are met.

There will be a gradual transition of responsibilities to allow for adequate training.

You will have some influence on your workflow, provided required tasks are completed.
