Role Overview
This is your opportunity to break into the exciting agency world of wines & spirits!
This role supports the Sales, Marketing and Brand Management teams in an administrative function. The core responsibilities include order desk coordination, Provincial liquor board’s registrations/administration/compliance and office coordination. The position is full time in office based at our Vancouver headquarters.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
BC Order Desk
- Receive, Submit and Respond to customer orders (Phone & Email)
- Tracking product allocations
- Generating purchase orders
- Tracking samples
Sales
- Managing governmental compliances
- New product registrations & other product administration
- Coordinate tenders from BCLDB
- Coordinate with Logistics on new products ordering and arrival.
- Support the sales teams in each province
Office Coordination
- Shipping of samples, POS and other materials
- Samples receiving, organization & auditing
Marketing & Brand Management support tasks to be added upon core task training and proficiency.
Job Requirements
· Post-secondary education from a recognized College or University
· A passion for the wine/ food & beverage industry is a must
· Team player mindset, a positive attitude, and an eagerness to learn
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; thrives in a deadline-oriented environment
· Ability to prioritize and reprioritize tasks on an ongoing basis to ensue deadlines are met and efficiencies are made.
· Solid understanding of Microsoft Office. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is an asset but not required.
· Flexibility to attend/work industry events outside of the regular working hours
Approximate salary range between $45,000 - $60,000. Based on the candidate’s level of experience and education. Compensation will include base salary and benefits package.
