A Social Media Manager is responsible for the development and execution of each of the company's separate social media accounts. The incumbent works closely with the regional Trade Marketing and national Portfolio Managing teams to identify content needs and is responsible for the voice and performance of each account.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Develop and manage a separate communication strategy for each of the company's separate social media accounts.
· Work with regional and national teams to identify content needs and organize content creation.
· Create a regular publishing schedule and promote content through social advertising.
· Implement a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns (utilizing required tools and software).
· Administrate the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality content (for all agencies and ads).
· Manage and oversee all social advertising campaigns.
· Identify and improve organizational development aspects that would improve content.
· Translate and publish content in both English and French.
· Understand that the incumbent may be asked to perform other ancillary or related duties as required, to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:
· Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently.
· Forward-looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions.
· Well organized, strong attention to detail, determined and results oriented.
· Robust design experience in Adobe, Canva or equivalent software considered a key asset.
· In depth knowledge of the Food & Beverage industry – WSET level 3 or equivalent.
· Fluent in both French and English considered a key asset.
· Digital or social media management work experience considered a key asset.
· Post-Secondary degree or diploma in a related field such as Business or Marketing considered a key asset.
