In close collaboration with BC Sales, Marketing Managers are responsible for all Trade promotions and return on investment. This is a key contributing role in provincial targets to sell and grow awareness of our world class portfolios.
To be successful in this role, you must be a result driven, wine passionate individual with strong organization and business analytical skills. Potential candidates would have a competitive team spirit, genuine thirst for winning and a desire to work cross-functionally with all departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Develop, execute and measure against Fiscal Marketing Plans for BC distribution channels
· Successfully forecast and manage a Fiscal Marketing Budget for a specific group of brands
· Create and measure against Fiscal Import and Sales Forecasts for a specific group of brands
· Develop, present and align on Fiscal Marketing Strategies with the appropriate stakeholders within the LDB
· Plan for and manage the execution for all special events, as they relate to your brands
· Develop and execute best-in-class sales material in support of the sales team and their execution in market
· Manage the relationship with all key external influencers with the ability to help develop our brands
· Complete and submit applications based on the LDB Tender Calendar
Position Requirements:
· Self starter and highly-motivated
· Team player
· Strong organizational skills
· Working knowledge of the LDBs Marketing policies and procedures
· Elevated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
· Experience with Adobe Design Suite (including Photoshop and Illustrator) and an eye for simple design work
· Proven ability and drive to meet tight deadlines
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Strong presentation skills
· WSET 2, or equivalent an asset
· Ability to lift/carry 40lbs on a regular basis
In accordance with the Pay Transparency Act, the expected base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $75,000 per year. Compensation and benefits commensurate with experience. Business related expenses are also covered.
