Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Sales Representative to join our team and expand our presence in Vancouver's Lower Mainland. In this role, you will be instrumental in growing our on-premise business for both wines and spirits, while also developing and maintaining strong relationships with key retail accounts. This will involve identifying and securing new on-premise accounts (restaurants, bars, hotels) and strategically managing existing retail partnerships.
You will be a key ambassador for our portfolio, utilizing your wine and spirit knowledge and consultative selling skills to build rapport with customers, understand their needs, and offer solutions that drive sales. This role requires an entrepreneurial spirit, strong networking abilities, and a data-driven approach to achieve sales targets and expand our market share.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and secure new on-premise accounts (restaurants, bars, hotels) in the Lower Mainland and Whistler.
- Manage and grow existing relationships with key retail accounts.
- Achieve assigned quarterly and annual sales objectives and KPIs.
- Utilize Zoho CRM to track activities, manage accounts, and monitor progress.
- Maximize brand visibility through effective shelf placements, fridge placements, and displays.
- Conduct wine & spirits education seminars for on- and off-premise staff.
- Execute in-store tastings and promotions to drive consumer engagement and sales.
- Represent Enoteca Bacco at industry events, tastings, and supplier dinners.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on targeted promotions and events.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary degree or education in marketing or business is a strong asset.
- 2 years of sales experience, including experience in the wine and spirits industry.
- WSET 2 or equivalent minimum, WSET 3 preferred.
- Strong understanding of the on-premise and retail landscape.
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Passion for the wine & spirits industry.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and leadership ability.
- Adaptable and resourceful in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid BC driver's license, vehicle and a clear driving record.
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs (23kg)
Benefits & Compensation:
- Competitive base salary ($50,000 - $60,000) with quarterly bonuses (commissions).

Working Conditions:
- This is a full-time, permanent position.
- May include weekend and evening shifts for events, tastings, and festivals.
- Work Location: Hybrid - 60-80% field work, 20-40% office work (in-person or remote)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, Weekends as needed
