About Us:
Nicholas Pearce Wines Inc. is a leading wine agency specializing in premium wine imports and distribution. We're seeking an ambitious and wine-knowledgeable Sales Representative to join our Ontario team.
Job Summary:
We're looking for a results-driven Sales Representative to help expand our market presence, build strong relationships with customers, provide solutions for Ontario licensees and help expand the distribution network in Ontario for our partner wineries. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, wine industry knowledge, and a passion for sales driven solutions.
Responsibilities:

Drive sales through your strong relationships with clients, leveraging your existing network and creating new connections

New account acquisition - Target new accounts and build/develop/maintain relationships with new customers

Drawing on your wine knowledge and passion for sales, provide exceptional customer service, building value for our customers beyond the world-class quality of our products

Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new customers (LCBO, restaurants, retailers)

Conduct wine tastings, product presentations, and sales calls

Achieve and exceed sales targets and expand market share

Stay up-to-date on industry trends, and market developments

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective sales strategies

Manage sales territory, including order processing and allocation / reservation management

Participate in market activities including producer visits, dinners and tasting events
Requirements:
• 2+ years of sales experience in the wine industry
• Wine education (e.g., WSET, CSW, Sommelier certification)
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Strong knowledge of Ontario's wine market and industry trends
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid Ontario driver's license and full time access to a vehicle (travel required)
• Ability to lift and carry 20kg
• Smart Serve Certification
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with premium wine brands
• Social media and marketing skills
• Proficiency in G Suite and Excel

Ideal Candidate

They demonstrate an intermediate to advanced level of wine knowledge for both local and international regions. Using their excellent verbal and written communication skills they promote positive working relationships both inside and outside the organization. Drawing from their previous experience in sales and/or hospitality, they foster and develop relationships across all customer types while building sales and brand identity
