Retail and Experience Associate (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

Megalomaniac is looking for a teammates with a strong passion in all things wine. This role is instrumental in ensuring that we deliver an on-site experience that inspires brand love and loyalty, and ultimately results in conversion. This position helps bring the brand strategy to life via the consumer’s physical environment and interactions, continually surprising and delighting our guests. Our retail & experience associates are responsible for a team that provides efficient, friendly customer service and product knowledge, and who builds, establishes and grows customer relationships.

Wine Store Sales and Operations
· Assist with wine store customer service and transactions.

· Assist with wine store operations (opening and closing duties, displays and stocking).

· Responsible for cash and debit purchases.

· Assist with the packaging department ensures all online orders are accurately and efficiently prepared for direct delivery. Works closely with order desk/shipping to coordinate on this task.

· Maintains and enhances a strong wine culture and quality image that befits the brand.

· Loves to be outdoors and educating our guests on the history and current developments in the vineyard and estate.

Consumer Experience Sales and Operations
· Assist with bookings, and execution of tasting and vineyard tours.

· Assist with the team to deliver tasting experiences to a high level of guest satisfaction.

Customer Service

· Manage customer inquiries via email and phone related to retail and consumer experiences when needed.

· Willingness and ability to support the team by undertaking day to day duties when needed such as picking and packing, executing consumer experiences and retail store customer service.

· Exemplary customer service skills

· Experience in the hospitality industry

·· Must be able to lift 40 lb cases of wine - Able to stand for long periods of time

· Professional attitude and a strong work ethic passion for sales

· Holds a Smart Serve certificate

· Has a "can do attitude" and ready to jump in where ever needed.

· Available to work weekends and public holidays
