Position Summary

Redstone Winery & Tawse Winery are recruiting for Retail Sales Associate. This position is available in a part-time capacity winter season with the possibility of extending into the summer season on a more full-time basis. The ideal candidate must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

·         Providing efficient customer service to customers by assisting them with wine selection/food pairings

·         Ensuring the store is well stocked and visually appealing to customers

·         Performing store opening and closing procedures by securing the store and counting the daily cash sales at the end of the day

·         Working as a team to present Redstone to customers and the community

·         Cleaning the store and polishing glassware on a daily basis

 

Position Requirements

·         Must have a positive and outgoing attitude, along with strong customer service skills

·         Must have weekend availability

·         Clear and friendly communication skills

·         Knowledge and passion for wine and the wine industry

·         Ability to build a rapport with customers and promote products

·         Smart Serve trained

·         Sommelier/WSET certificate an asset
